Michael R. Murphy’s Story
Hello,
I am the original owner of the 1977 CB750K Model. I purchased it in 1978 as a year old left over 1977 in the crate from the Honda Dealer. I paid $1,800.00 out the door. In 1979 I built it with a 836cc kit. Here’s what’s in it.
Action 4 pistons 100 over
Kenny Harmon “F” grind cam
Over size intake & exhaust valves
Titanium valves, valve springs & retainers
Ported & polished head
Honda super clutch
RC 4 into 1 header
Heavy duty roller drive chain
Back in the day I used to pull bus links on 900 Kawasaki’s to their disbelief.
It has 26K miles on it. This is one of the best motorcycles ever made. I have owned it for 37 years now and is in mint condition. This bike has been to Montana and back to Michigan 3 times without any problems. I have also rode it to Florida twice and back. Thanks for looking at my memories.
