Michael Randell’s Story

Hello, my name is Michael Randell I have been interested in bikes for as long as I can remember. My interest in bikes has led to myself purchasing an XS1100 in the past. This bike was in fair condition when I purchased it but with some tinkering I had it running great! I sold it two years ago due to other obligations.

However, about 2 months ago I decided that it was time to get back to my hobby! I decided that I wanted this to be quite the project, something that I can devote a lot of time fixing. I figure that this would be much more rewarding once I have the bike ready to ride. So, a few weeks ago I picked up a 1979 CB750K. I have just started taking stock of where to start with this. I ordered some parts from your website to get me started, this included new carb holders, carb kits, ignition coils along with some other assorted items.

I received these parts the other day and look forward to playing with my “new toy” on my free time over the Christmas holiday. My goal is to have my CB750 running nicely by May when the weather gets nice again. I will keep you guys posted on my progress. Cheers! Michael.
