IZUMI Chain Rivet Links are Hollow pin end type and should be riveted with our special tool #35-0006. We offer this Riveting tool below cost to our chain customers.

Note: Rivet Tool for other brands of Japanese high strength chain often cost well in excess of $100.00.

CHAIN FACTS
See the chain application chart above, but count the links of your old chain as some models used 2 different Lengths and YOU are responsible for ordering the correct length, Size and type of chain for your bike.

COUNT Your Sprocket Teeth and Chain Links!

We are Not responsible for customer mismatched chain lengths and chains are Not returnable. New chains will usually be very tight when newly installed but will loosen in a few miles when the high pressure factory injected roller grease runs in. Install chains with Axel all the way forward, chain adjusters fully loosened and bike off center stand. Use of chain puller #35-0130 may be required to get the master link in place.

Worn (Stretched or Hooked) Sprocket Teeth will cause fitting difficulties. Keep your chain adjusted!

Early CB750's use 530 (#50) type chain as stock size.
530 Chains Must be used with 530 Sprockets: See our Sprocket Listing.
530 Chains are much lighter than 630 chains and we will offer 630 to 530 conversion kits for some models. 530 and 630 IZUMI Chains both have high Tensile Strength and exceed original loading.

1 pc. of clip type Master Link is included with each Izumi Chain. Average Tensile Strength of IZUMI 530HT (#50) chain is 8.360 Lbs. For maximum strength durability use Rivet type Joiner Links.
